Great hike but don't be fooled by the easy start. It gradually gets more and more difficult as you near the top. If it's rainy or wet out, take extra caution as it would be easy to sprain an ankle on this trail. That being said, the hike is a great workout and the view from the top is pretty spectacular. If you're bringing a dog it might be difficult to reach the top with them - the last 100 meters is all large boulders that you have to scramble over

5 star hike requiring commitment and skill! 3-4 hours round trip

Did the shortcut parking to peak hike. It's more bouldering then hiking. The view is pretty good, perhaps if it's not raining a bit better, but it is intense to get up from a climbing point of view not a hiking.

This is an amazing trail well worth the price of admission. Best yet just stay the night at the campground and you get to hike all the trails for free. The hike is really easy at the start until about 2.8km then it gets pretty steep for the last kilometer or so. The last little bit is a Class 1 scramble so bring appropriate shoes.

Half the trail is in wooded area, other half going up steep mountain. Took about 3 hours at a moderate pace with breaks. Certain parts hard to hike, effort required to hike this trail. The view is definitely worth the effort. Would hike again. There are no signs on the road, but trail is about 7km on the left from campgrounds.
